Matrix offers trainings on Special Education and special needs related topics through our offices and can provide presentations to your organization or school upon request. All trainings are FREE.

ONLINE TRAINING
Matrix is pleased to offer FREE online training. These courses are designed to help you develop valuable skills that will allow you to be the strongest advocate on behalf of your child.
In this self-directed training, you will learn Special Education basics and tips for effective advocacy. Allow 30 minutes to complete the entire training, although you may stop and restart at any time. Directed toward parents of children with special needs, “Building Confidence and Building a Better IEP” is our first venture into the world of e-learning. Please take a few minutes at the end of the training to give us your feedback. Thanks!

Create an IEP Binder to help you get and stay organized. Matrix now offers individual appointments for our Organize Your IEP Papers Workshop. Call 415. 884.3535 to make an appointment. Families from any of our four counties are invited to participate.

2 hours. How can parents be the strong, resourceful advocates that kids in Special Education need? A great workshop for parents new to the world of Special Ed, or for those who want to learn new (or expand) their advocacy skills. Given by Stephanie Smith Stein, Director of Parent Services for Matrix.
• Turning 3 Years Old - Now What?
1.5 hours. Transition to preschool for Early Start program families.
