Access Adventure -- Fairfield: Outdoor Recreation, Environmental Education and Open Space Access using unique wheelchair accessible horse drawn carriages.

Autism on the Seas -- Company that offers cruises for families that have children with autism, and adults that have autism. They have added many new services and features over the last year or so, and their cruise offerings are constantly changing. You also can arrange your own group cruise, if you have a number of families interested in cruising on a date, or from a port that they currently do not have a group cruise set-up for. Becoming Independent's TEEN ZONE: BI's newest program, the after-school socialization-training program, aka The Teen Zone, will be held at Healdsburg High School. The Teen Zone is an after-school social and recreational program for teens and young adults (ages 13-22) living with developmental disabilities. The program will run on school days, Monday through Friday from 3:00pm-6:30pm. The Teen Zone is vendored through the North Bay Regional Center. Bureau of Jewish Education’s Special Needs Family Camp Weekend, held at Camp Newman in Santa Rosa on June 5-7, 2009. See brochure for more information.

Camp Altitude -- a 2 week camp (August 1-15) at UCSC, for boys and girls with social cognitive challenges who would enjoy a typical overnight camp experience with the benefit of clinical professionals geared to help them develop social and independent living skills.

Camping Unlimited -- Provides year-round recreational activities and summer camping for children and adults with developmental disabilities.

Challenger League -- Mill Valley Little League. Last year Mill Valley Little League introduced a new community program for youth with special needs. The Challenger league is a division of little league and is a unique opportunity for children who have developmental disabilities to participate in Little League baseball -- open to any youth age 5-18 who resides in Marin County. College Internship Program in Berkeley, June 19th to July 3rd. This program provides individualized, post-secondary, academic, internship and independent living experiences for students ages 16 to 19 with Asperger's, High-Functioning Autism and Learning Differences. Their mission is to graduate young men and women of confidence, character, and integrity capable of making contributions to society and claiming their place as citizens of the world. Coyote Coast Leadership Project -- a summer program for students with Learning Differences, ADHD, Asperger's, and High-Functioning Autism. The Coyote Coast Leadership Project (CCLP) offers a unique day program for teens ages 13-17 with atypical neurological development. Each three-week session will provide students with opportunities to participate in a variety of service-learning projects which incorporate team-building and problem-solving exercises. Students in CCLP take an active role in the planning and implementation of each project. Interactive social skills groups allow students to gain new skills in an engaging setting, using experiential activities. Hiking trips, indoor rock climbing, outdoor ecology lessons and field trips to local attractions such as the California Academy of Sciences and the Steinhart Aquarium are also important components of the program. Cypress Camp -- Summer Community Day Camps sponsored by United Cerebral Palsy of the North Bay, June 1st to June 12th and August 3rd to August 14th. New, FREE Soccer Program! The Santa Rosa Recreation & Parks Department of Neighborhood Services is offering this FREE program serving youth ages 8–14. It is an informal, drop-in program for which kids can sign up in advance, at the site, and at anytime throughout the duration of the program.
