Attendees will:

1. have access to state-of-the-art best practices in working with parents of children with special needs, with an emphasis on gaining new perspectives and sharpening our focus in a time of turmoil and change;
2. learn about and experience an array of culturally diverse strategies and approaches for working with parents if children with special needs;
3. learn about and experience traditional and non-traditional ways of imparting and receiving information;
4. have a variety of opportunities to network with others for mutual support and exchange of information and ideas.
