The purpose of the Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC) is to provide school districts with input on the development and implementation of the Local Plan for special education. The SEAC offers a forum for addressing the needs of all students with disabilities. Through participation on the SEAC, members will become informed regarding special education policies and procedures, learn to advocate for the needs of children with disabilities, and have an opportunity to participate in making decisions that impact the delivery of special education services in Marin County.
The Special Education Advisory Committee serves as a forum to actively participate and learn about the delivery of special education services in Marin County.
The Special Education Advisory Committee meets from 9:00 am – 10:30 am. The meetings are held at the Marin County Office of Education or virtually by video conference or by tele-conference.
