You were concerned about your child’s development and learning – or perhaps a trusted friend or teacher suggested your child be assessed for special education services. Maybe your little one was in Early Start and could be transitioning to a special ed preschool. Either way, you’ve given written permission for assessments in areas of suspected disability to take place, and now the results are in and the 1st IEP meeting date has been set.
