Marin, Napa, Solano, and Sonoma County Libraries Host All Month Black History Celebrations

- The Marin County Free Library hosts Black Heritage Celebration: Strength Through Grace. This celebration lasts all month and offers many free and open-to-the-public events all month long.
- Napa County Library: Matinee Movie Classics Celebrates Black History Month, The 1943 classic, Cabin in the Sky, is set to unforgettable music by an all-star cast including Ethel Waters, Lena Horne, and Louis Armstrong. So grab your popcorn and celebrate Black History Month with this landmark of early Hollywood musical cinema.
- Solano County Library: February is Black History Month. Black History Month is an annual celebration of achievements by Black people and a time to recognize their central role in history. Learn about and honor Black History Month with books, movies, music, programs, and digital resources from your library!
- Sonoma County Library Black History Month Celebration: Black Health and Wellness. Hosted by the Petaluma Blacks for Community Development, our Black History Month celebration centers on this year’s theme of “Black Health and Wellness”.
