“We are proud to be able to share this video with you where we’ll hear stories often left out of mainstream society. We capture and celebrate voices from across disability and across intersectional AAPI communities, as we share our struggles and our triumphs, and affirm through it, that we will be “Invisible No More!”
On behalf of all of us at Disability Rights California (DRC), and in collaboration with California Association of the Deaf, Southern California Asian Deaf Association, Society for the Blind, and NorCal Services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, we created this video celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month in 2021 with the hope you come away affirmed, of our collective humanity and the importance of our collective voices.”
