Parent Technical Assistance Center – Region 6 Conference

We’ve been busy! 

Parent Center leaders from Alaska, California, Hawaii and the Pacific Islands, Oregon, Idaho, and Washington  gathered in Portland, OR  July 8 – 10 for our regional conference.  Matrix Technical Assistance Coordinators Deborah Daniels-Smith and Tony Darren coordinated speakers from national and state programs to present over 22 keynote and breakout session topics.  As the Regional Parent Technical Assistance Center (RPTAC) for Region 6, Matrix provides Technical Assistance to Parent Centers in these eight western states and territories to ensure they have the information and training needed to provide quality services to families in their areas.
